After a four-day trial in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, the jury returned a $250,000 verdict for our client who was injured in a serious car crash. The defendant made a left turn into our client’s lane and caused a major head-on collision. Our client was flown to the hospital by Medivac helicopter, endured more than a year of medical treatment, and missed eight months from work while he recovered. Our client sustained a permanent injury to his lower back and had to change jobs because of his injuries.

At trial, the defense blamed our client for causing the crash and accused our client of exaggerating his injuries. Fortunately, the jury followed the facts and evidence, not the defense lawyers’ arguments. The crash evidence showed that the defendant caused this crash by turning left across the double-yellow lines and into our client’s lane. The medical evidence showed that our client sustained numerous physical and emotional injuries in the crash and that none of those ailments existed before the crash. Once again, the jury saw through the defense strategy and awarded our client full and fair compensation.
